’Nuragic ship’ is one of my personal tributes to Sardinian Archeology, to the amazing artefacts realized by Nuragic Civilization, during the Bronze Age, around 3.000 – 2700 years BC
They were incredibly clever in the bronze casting process and they left little sculptures reproducing the real life-size ships they used to sail the Mediterranean sea.
Living in Sardinia for some time gave me the opportunity to learn about archeology and the mysterious Nuragic civilization, I got so fascinated by the grace and the harmony of their shapes, I drew ‘my’ Nurgic Ship’.
